Corey Aumiller is a filmmaker, art educator, fine
artist and a beard wearer. He began adapting Encyclopedia Brown
mysteries into short videos when he was 10 years old and his
love for filmmaking only blossomed as he aged. While at Columbus
College of Art and Design, Aumiller befriended three incredible
artists who shared his passion for visual storytelling. The result
was a collaborative group called True Studios and a feature film
project called On the Lam. Aumiller earned a BFA at the
Columbus College of Art and Design for Time Based Media Studies
and a teaching licensure from Ohio Dominican University. He teaches
Media Arts, Ceramics and Drawing in Ohio. In daily life, he is a
pretty average guy who writes about himself in the third person
for gallery applications and Internet bios, goes to work, grows
vegetables and rides around on bikes with his wife. He can be contacted
